The Framework

The Spine: the seven systems of a well-run law firm.

Every firm runs on systems, whether you built them on purpose or they built themselves. The Spine names the seven that matter, puts them in the order they depend on each other, and turns "run your firm better" into something you can actually work through.

Why a spine

A firm stays upright when every system carries its load.

Most owners pour their energy into the one or two systems they enjoy and leave the rest to chance. It works until it doesn't. A firm that markets brilliantly but cannot convert intake, or bills well but cannot hire, still buckles. The point of the Spine is balance: seven connected systems, each holding the firm up.

Run it on numbers

If you cannot see it, you cannot run it.

Each system has a handful of numbers that tell you whether it is healthy. The Spine teaches which ones matter for a solo or small firm, how to track them without a finance team, and what to do when one drifts.

The Founding Cohort

Work all seven, in the right order.

The Spine is taught as a twelve-month, faculty-led cohort. Start by seeing where your firm stands today.
